BH Defense is unique among small businesses in the depth and breadth of its technical abilities to support the implementation of "rule of law" programs in conflict areas or developing nations. We are fully integrated in our capability to design, procure, install, operate, maintain, and repair the full range of physical protection systems associated with meeting the physical security needs of judicial facilities. Additionally, we provide judicial infrastructure protection (judges, witnesses, lawyers, etc.); court design, and training. Our organic technical capabilities include system installation and programming, electrical infrastructure installation and repair, DVR and camera net-working. We can also design barrier systems to include bollards, delta barriers, gates, and structures without relying on subcontractors. For example, our field office in Baghdad, Iraq supported the design of the first post-war courthouse to include compliance with Department of Justice standards for physical security. We were responsible for the design of the entire physical protection system of the new family of criminal courts in Iraq to include special witness protection facilities. In conjunction with seven iterations of U.S. Marshals supporting Iraqi reconstruction, BH Defense developed the specifications for each of the PPS elements to include x-ray, walk-through metal detectors, trace detection systems, and physical barriers.
